Two days of entertainment awaits you. A selection of the best live Turkish music, local bands, Turkish Folk Dance Groups, and belly dancing performances are but a few the program will offer.

Houston is a truly cosmopolitan city and we are proud to present some of the Turkish aspects of this mosaic. Our goal is to increase, promote and foster friendships by raising the public awareness and understanding of the Turkish culture and traditions while providing entertainment and learning.

The festival Grand Bazaar, with over 20 booths and stands, offers a wide variety of handicrafts and souvenirs reflecting the art and traditions of the Turkish culture.

Let us not forget the little ones. Each year the festival dedicates an entire area to the children. There they can safely play, dance, do creative crafts and paint under the supervision of adult volunteers. Children’s corner also features face painting booth, a mini stage will also be set up for the children to enjoy storytelling, music, and dance.

Naturally, a key focus of any festival is the food! Turkishfest is especially known for its fabulous cuisine. The rich selection of kebobs, doners, and pilafs is enhanced by home-made pastries and drinks.

Check the map layout for booth spaces.

The festival will have onstage entertainment featuring performances from local and international artists. In addition, the festival will host a wide variety of arts and crafts along with many types of food and drinks.

Based on last year’s attendance, we are expecting around 10,000 visitors during the two-day event. A special children’s area will be provided with its own
entertainment and activities.

The festival will house a Bazaar on the upper plaza level of the venue in an all covered/shaded area.

We are accepting applications for the Bazaar. We strongly recommend that the products offered be representative of a Turkish Bazaar.

Other product suggestions could be proposed and entertained by the festival committee.
