DESCRIPTION
Stroll through the park‑like setting of the historic Yavapai County Courthouse Plaza in beautiful downtown Prescott, while viewing original creations from painters, photographers, sculptors, jewelers, and more. A wine garden, offering tastings from several AZ wineries, and culinary delights from several food vendors, will also be available. This free, open‑to‑the‑public annual event helps MAG, a 70 year old non‑profit, support the arts community.
Other Activities: demos by potters, weavers, woodturners
Days/Hours Open: Sat 9am‑5pm, Sun 9am‑4pm
The festivals are free and open to the public. They showcase a wide range of fine art and the work of a select group of artisans and crafters on the grass under the many tall trees that shade the Historic Courthouse Plaza in downtown Prescott. The Festivals are hosted by the Mountain Artists Guild, a non-profit group of artists that has been supporting art and art education in the Prescott area since its founding by Mabel Laurence and famous Cowboy Artist George Phippen in 1949.
