Our Story
What we do:
Alice & Chains Bespoke Jewelry works with clients to develop jewelry from the stages of inspiration, concept, design, and into production of their one-of-a-kind piece. Whether it’s a statement necklace from fabric and beads, an engagement ring, or a re-purposed heirloom our mission is to give you a story to wear and share.
Our name:
Throughout life we often discover parallels – beliefs, people, places, events, or symbols invisibly connecting us to one another. Alice & Chains Jewelry exists because two women, both named Alice, existed unknowingly, as parallel lines until one day their lineages crossed paths and found this commonality called love.
The Designer:
Born from the heart of a farmer, Maggie unknowingly followed in Alice’s footsteps, leaving the wide-open spaces of a Midwest farm for the bright city lights of New York City. The juxaposition of organic versus man-made is a boundless source of inspiration for the bespoke pieces designed and made by Alice & Chains Jewelry. Beyond her formal training in jewelry design and fabrication at the Fashion Institute of Technology in New York, Maggie further developed her skills under the guidance of Justin Giunta at Tory Burch and later under his brand Subversive Jewelry. Recently having moved her family and business to Houston, Texas Maggie enjoys exploring Texas with her husband, spunky daughter, and food-obsessed miniature dachshund.
