Dow Money Trees
Dow Money Trees
Our Story
Dow Money Trees are unique bonsai trees that use Federal Reserve notes that have been taken out of circulation and destroyed into money residue. Using the combination of other mediums, Jonathan Dow brings this one of a kind art sculptures to life with the belief that those that own one will receive good luck and prosperity into their lives.
Money is earned, spent, saved, promised, gifted, gambled, gained, fought over, sued for, hoped for, prayed for, killed for, wasted, wanted, won, lost, loaned, lusted, loved, borrowed, inherited, insured, invested, speculated, squandered, taxed and now, it is shredded to create DOW MONEY TREES.
At first glance, it looks like a real plant and even a bonsai tree. Then you get closer and you see its leaves are something familiar. Authentic Federal Reserve notes that have been taken out of circulation and shredded and turned into art using mixed mediums which allows Jon Dow to create a representation of a true MONEY TREE.
